Swift Guad, de son vrai nom François Yvan Marletta, est un rappeur français né le 16 novembre 1981, originaire du quartier de la Croix de Chavaux à Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), d’origine sicilienne par son père et yougoslave par sa mère. Figure emblématique du rap underground francilien et de la scène underground francophone plus largement, il est reconnu pour une voix singulière, une plume imagée et acérée, et une productivité exceptionnelle dépassant la vingtaine de projets en vingt ans de carrière.
Baigné dans la culture hip-hop depuis l’enfance, Swift Guad commence à rapper en 1998. En 2000, il fonde le label Horizone Production avec ses acolytes Paco, Rossito et Dos Fx, structure qui lui permet de produire plusieurs mixtapes collectives (Avant goût, Figure 2 style) et compilations (Good Oldies volumes 1 et 2). Parallèlement à sa carrière musicale, il exerce le métier d’animateur puis de directeur en centre de loisirs, profession qu’il n’abandonnera jamais, confiant parfois se sentir « plus utile dans son boulot que dans son rap ». En 2008, Swift Guad remporte un concours lui offrant d’assurer la première partie de NTM au Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, où Kool Shen le qualifie publiquement de rappeur « très technique ». En 2009, il remporte un concours lancé par Orelsan pour poser un couplet sur le remix de « No life », ce qui lui vaut une participation au Planète Rap sur Skyrock. Il est membre du collectif Inglourious Bastardz et proche du collectif Le Gouffre. Ses collaborations couvrent un spectre très large : Aketo, Ol’Kainry, Alkpote, Seth Gueko, Zoxea, Davodka, Demi Portion, Furax Barbarossa, L’Hexaler, Jeff Le Nerf, 10vers, et les producteurs Al’Tarba, Mani Deïz, Blakesmith et Raw Saïtama, avec qui il réalise plusieurs albums communs.
Son style se distingue par une voix reconnaissable, un flow endurant et précis, une écriture dense et imagée héritée du rap classique des années 1990-2000, et une capacité à s’adapter aussi bien aux productions boom bap qu’aux sonorités trap ou autotune sans perdre son identité. Ses textes oscillent entre révolte sociale, vie de quartier, egotrip maîtrisé et introspection, avec un sens du punchline affûté par des années de battles.

An emblematic figure of the Île-de-France underground rap scene and the wider French-language underground, he is recognised for a distinctive voice, vivid and sharp writing, and exceptional productivity spanning more than twenty projects over a twenty-year career.
Immersed in hip-hop culture from childhood, Swift Guad began rapping in 1998. In 2000 he founded the label Horizone Production with his associates Paco, Rossito and Dos Fx, which allowed him to produce several collective mixtapes (Avant goût, Figure 2 style) and compilations (Good Oldies volumes 1 and 2). Alongside his music career he works as a youth worker and activity director at a leisure centre — a profession he has never abandoned, occasionally admitting he sometimes feels "more useful in his job than in his rap." In 2008, Swift Guad won a contest to open for NTM at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, where Kool Shen publicly described him as a "very technical" rapper. In 2009, he won a contest launched by Orelsan to record a verse on the remix of "No life", earning him an appearance on Skyrock's Planète Rap. He is a member of the Inglourious Bastardz collective and close to the Le Gouffre crew. His collaborations cover a wide range: Aketo, Ol'Kainry, Alkpote, Seth Gueko, Zoxea, Davodka, Demi Portion, Furax Barbarossa, L'Hexaler, Jeff Le Nerf, 10vers, and producers Al'Tarba, Mani Deïz, Blakesmith and Raw Saïtama, with whom he has made several joint albums.
His style is defined by a recognisable voice, a precise and enduring flow, dense and image-laden writing rooted in the classic 1990s–2000s rap tradition, and an ability to adapt to boom bap, trap or autotune-influenced productions without losing his identity.
