Roméo Elvis, de son vrai nom Roméo Van Laeken, est un rappeur belge né le 13 décembre 1992 à Uccle (Bruxelles). Fils du chanteur Marka et de la comédienne et humoriste Laurence Bibot, et frère aîné de la chanteuse Angèle, il est issu d’une famille profondément ancrée dans le monde artistique belge. Figure du rap francophone bruxellois des années 2010, il incarne un hip-hop mélodique et introspectif, nourri d’influences électroniques et jazz, avec une voix grave et un sens affirmé de la punchline.Grandi à Linkebeek puis à Forest (Bruxelles), il se fait renvoyer du collège avant de rejoindre l’Institut Saint-Luc de Tournai pour des études en peinture et illustration, puis l’ESA 75 à Bruxelles pour la photographie de reportage.
