Grandi à l’Île de Thau, quartier populaire de Sète, il perd tôt son père et trouve dans le hip-hop un exutoire à partir de l’âge de douze ans. En 1995, il forme avec son ami Karim dit Sprinter le duo Les Grandes Gueules, qui assure dès 1996 la première partie de la Fonky Family à Sète. Le rappeur Fabe (Scred Connexion) devient l’un de ses mentors et l’invite à Paris en 1999. Avec Les Grandes Gueules, il publie notamment les mixtapes On Ne Peut Pas Plaire à Tout le Monde (2006, 2007) et l’album En Paradis d’Enfer, avant d’entamer une carrière solo à partir de 2008 avec les deux EP 8 Titres et Demi. Ses collaborations couvrent un spectre large : Davodka, Kery James, Scylla, Grand Corps Malade, Bigflo & Oli, Féfé, IAM, Rim’K, Alonzo, SCH, Souffrance.
Son style se distingue par une écriture sans fioritures, directe et accessible, construite sur un rap boom-bap teinté d’influences méditerranéennes et orientales, en hommage récurrent à ses origines marocaines. Fan de Dragon Ball Z, il y fait régulièrement référence dans ses textes. Attaché à la figure de Georges Brassens — autre enfant de Sète — il en reprend plusieurs titres. Son flow, posé et travaillé, privilégie la densité lyrique à la performance technique.
Sa discographie solo comprend Artisan du Bic (2011, premier album classé dans les cent meilleures ventes françaises), Les Histoires (2013), Dragon Rash (2015), 2 Chez Moi (2017), l’EP Libertad (2018), Super Héros (2018), La Bonne École (2020), Mots Croisés (2022) et Poids Plume (janvier 2024, avec Rim’K, Alonzo, SCH et Souffrance, classé 23e en France). En 2016, il crée le Demi Festival à Sète, événement indépendant annuel réunissant artistes confirmés et émergents de la scène hip-hop francophone, qui accueille notamment Youssoupha et Kery James.
Growing up in the Île de Thau, a working-class neighbourhood of Sète, he lost his father early and found in hip-hop an outlet from the age of twelve. In 1995 he formed the duo Les Grandes Gueules with his friend Karim, known as Sprinter, and the group opened for Fonky Family in their hometown as early as 1996. The rapper Fabe of Scred Connexion became one of his mentors and invited him to Paris in 1999. With Les Grandes Gueules he released the mixtapes On Ne Peut Pas Plaire à Tout le Monde (2006, 2007) and the album En Paradis d’Enfer, before launching a solo career in 2008 with the two EPs 8 Titres et Demi. His collaborations span a wide range of artists, including Davodka, Kery James, Scylla, Grand Corps Malade, Bigflo & Oli, Féfé, IAM, Rim’K, Alonzo, SCH and Souffrance.
His style is defined by unfussy, direct and accessible writing, built on a boom-bap foundation tinged with Mediterranean and Oriental influences, in recurring tribute to his Moroccan roots. A devoted Dragon Ball Z fan, he frequently references the franchise in his lyrics. His attachment to Georges Brassens — another son of Sète — has led him to cover several of his songs. His flow, measured and carefully crafted, favours lyrical density over technical showmanship.

In 2016 he founded the Demi Festival in Sète, an independent annual event bringing together established and emerging artists from the French-speaking hip-hop scene, with past headliners including Youssoupha and Kery James.
