Disiz – Disiz Zilla (2018)

Disiz Zilla est le douzième album studio de Disiz, sorti le 14 septembre 2018 sous le label Panthéon, distribué par Universal Music. Porté par le single « Hiroshima », ce disque de rap énergique marque une rupture avec l’ambiance plus lounge de l’album précédent, Pacifique (2017). À travers une imagerie inspirée de Kaïju et de figures monstrueuses, Disiz y développe un rap frontal et habité, entre colère sociale et introspection.

Disiz Zilla développe un univers rap énergique et sombre, où l’artiste convoque une imagerie de monstres et de créatures géantes pour évoquer une époque en pleine mutation. Disiz Zilla alterne morceaux percutants et titres plus introspectifs, abordant des thématiques telles que la colère sociale, la désillusion contemporaine et le rapport à soi, dans un style vocal parfois autotuné. Disiz Zilla réunit trois collaborations avec Sofiane, Niska et Eari, dans la continuité du travail collaboratif que Disiz avait déjà initié sur ses précédents projets.
